| Umm, hmm... so, it's been a month since the last entry. Things have picked up a bit, and it's already MARCH! Spring's in the air, cherry blossoms are popping up again, and hopefully the sun is here to stay! Not much to report for this month, other than landing a summer Co-op position in Waterloo, Ontario (all the way out EAST!) with the company RIM -- Research in Motion. I don't expect many people to recognize this name, but you might recognize what the company produces (Blackberry) (No, not the fruit. Unfortunately, I am not going to work on a farm this summer). I don't really know what I'll be doing yet, since my job title is "Content Development Services Coordinator," which sounds suspiciously elaborate and deceptive as to what the job will really involve. For all I know, running errands could be a form of coordinating the service of content development. The part which I found pretty cool was the company paying for the return ticket to/from Vancouver - Waterloo. Sweeeeet... at least I still get to keep the majority of whatever petty amount I will be making... People have not failed to remind me that this is most definitely a step above Bowen Island (my Co-op placement last summer). I don't think I will ever hear the end of that... hey, isolated living wasn't thaaat bad, lol... except for the house not having an Internet connection, I guess... but, yeah, I am not renting an Internet-less place again!
Ahh, I should really get back to studying. Got (another) Psychology midterm tomorrow. Sorry the chatterbox has expired. I don't think I will attempt to resuscitate the thing this time, since I don't come here that often anymore. Of course, that being said, I looooove props, so drop me a line whenever you have the time! | | |
| Feeling so stressed and so down over: a) Midterm part 1 today, where I made some stupid mistakes that could've been avoided had I... I dunno, memorized more random details?, and b) Midterm part 2 on Wednesday. Maybe it's disproportional stress, because, granted, this is just one class, but the stress is getting to me so much so that I'm not even feeling hungry most of the day, and am really only forcing myself to get some chow down at the appropriate times. I don't think I've ever felt this much frustration with a class before; it just seems like, there's no point to studying a lot, because the material's just not sticking to memory, and besides, I wouldn't be able to answer the questions anyway because they're just plain weird.
Aaarrrggghhhhhh, I'm sorry for sounding so depressed, and sorry you had to read this. I think I'll be better after tomorrow, but in the meantime, I gotta get some sleep and then get back to reading my notes over and over again. Or, at least, however many times I can read them until the test. Mannnnn, I hate this.
I promise a happier post next time.

| Interesting. Haven't posted up here in a long, long time, and I'm turning back here again when I'm feeling down with school. Stressed about two midterms (for the same class) (my Forensic Psych class, if anyone remembers that from last term...) and a phone interview for a potential summer Co-op placement in these coming three days will surely get the better of me. Gahhhhh. Can't even work up proper emotions/ sentences.
Oohhh, and yeah, sorry about the lack of updates. I'd temporarily lost interest in Xanga; maybe it was, and is, because I hardly have any papers to write this term? =) On the other hand, Facebook is a great way to spend your free time.
Have a happy Chinese New Year! Valentine's! Reading Week! Spring solstice! Easter! Any birthdays that happens to be! =D

| It's snowing! Hopefully there'll be a layer of snow soon and I can take a proper picture =)
